Dr. Neuwirth completed a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Attending Physician for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, within the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Neuwirth is actively engaged in ongoing clinical outcomes research in the field of joint replacement and reconstruction. His primary research efforts are focused on the eradication of infection following hip and knee replacements.
