Dr. Anna (. Lavigne

As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences, I specialize in palliative radiation oncology with a focus on improving access to high-quality, compassionate care for patients with advanced cancer. I am the founder and director of the Palliative Radiation and Supportive Medicine (PRISM) Service, a program dedicated to enhancing the role of radiation therapy in symptom management and end-of-life care. In addition, I am part of our breast radiation oncology team, and I guide clinical care and treatment strategies for patients with breast cancer at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. My clinical efforts center on expanding access to palliative radiation through infrastructural development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovative treatment approaches. I am deeply committed to advancing health equity and addressing disparities in cancer care delivery.
