George B. Mychaliska, M.D. is the Robert Bartlett, MD Collegiate Professor of Pediatric Surgery and a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. He earned his Medical Degree and Master’s of Science from the Joint Medical Program at the University of California at San Francisco and Berkeley. Dr. Ehrlich serves as the Director of the Pediatric Trauma and is a member of the Solid Tumor Oncology Program at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan.Clinical Specialization:Dr. Ehrlich is extremely active in the Children’s Oncology Group serving as a surgical principal investigator on the renal tumor committee as well as the scientific council. Due to her interest in clinical outcomes research, she obtained her master’s degree in clinical research design and Statistical Analysis from the University of Michigan in 2017.Dr. Speck is a Fellow in the American Pediatric Surgical Association (APSA) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). She is a member of the Association of Women Surgeons (AWS), the Association for Academic Surgery (AAS), the International Pediatric Endosurgery Group (IPEG), and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). At the University of Michigan, she is a member of the Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation.Clinical Specialization:Dr. Speck’s surgical practice encompasses all areas of general and thoracic pediatric surgery with a focus on minimally invasive surgery. As the Director of Pediatric Colorectal Surgery, she has a particular interest in colorectal diseases, including anorectal malformations, Hirschsprung disease, and differences of sex differentiation (DSD).
