Overview
I am a nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology. I work with patients on the prevention and treatment of heart conditions including coronary and peripheral arterial disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, abnormal heart rhythms, and heart failure and other structural heart abnormalities. In a clinic setting, I am able to combine my education background skills and my cardiology nursing knowledge to help patients be and stay well. In my former role as an ICU nurse, I learned that a large percentage of heart disease and its complications can be prevented or delayed with earlier interventions. My goal is to prevent cardiovascular disease when possible and to keep it in remission when already present. I am here to support each patient in being the healthiest version of themselves. I do this by collaborating with patients and families, listening, sharing, and formulating individualized treatment plans.
