Dr. Susarla is the Division Chief of Plastic Surgery, the Marlys C. Larson Endowed Chair in Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery, and the Surgical Director of the Craniofacial Center at Seattle Children's Hospital. He is a Professor of Surgery (Plastic) and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Washington.Dr. Susarla is an internationally-recognized expert in pediatric and adult craniomaxillofacial reconstructive surgery. He is one of the few craniomaxillofacial surgeons in the United States board certified in Plastic Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.Dr. Susarla has a robust research portfolio, with over 300 publications. He is on the editorial boards for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
