Dr. Brianna S. Whittemore

Dr. Brianna Whittemore earned her bachelor of science at the University of Florida, Gainesville, and her Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. After her residency, Dr. Whittemore served as an OB/GYN in the United States Navy in Okinawa, Japan, and Camp Lejeune, NC. After her time with the Navy, she worked as a traveling hospitalist before going into private practice in Jacksonville, NC. Her clinical interests include robotic surgery, high-risk obstetrical care and emergencies, pelvic floor disorders, and fertility work-ups.“I am invested in supporting my patients in their best and worst days/experiences. I am passionate about treating patients with dignity and respect, offering individualized counseling, participating in shared decision-making, and providing the best delivery experience possible.”When not working, Dr. Whittemore enjoys spending quality time with her husband (also a veteran) and her son, experiencing new cultures and food, skiing, hiking, home decor and renovation, and enjoying her husband’s cooking.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Vaginal Bleeding Between Periods, Infertility, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and Angiomyoma.

Dr. Whittemore is board certified in American Board Of Obstetrics And Gynecology. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 3 peer reviewed articles. Dr. Whittemore is currently accepting new patients.
