Dr. Camila Cabrera is a fellowship-trained maternal-fetal medicine physician with the Orlando Health Women’s Institute Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine. She cares for women whose pregnancies are complicated by issues such as gestational diabetes, hypertension and chronic disease, with a focus on health equity and education. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Magee-Womens Hospital in Pennsylvania and her fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital’s Icahn School of Medicine in New York City. About Dr. Cabrera Dr. Cabrera is certified as an OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her research interests include disparities in the treatment of severe postpartum hypertension, the COVID-19 pandemic’s effect on birth equity and the feasibility of continuous glucose monitoring for diagnosing postpartum diabetes in women with gestational diabetes. She has contributed to numerous publications, abstracts and poster presentations on topics related to maternal-fetal medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Cabrera enjoys spending time with her daughter, scuba diving and tropical vacations. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
