Dr. Christopher L. Dixon

Dr. Christopher Dixon is a double-board-certified maternal fetal care physician with the Orlando Health Women’s Institute Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine. He works with women whose pregnancies are complicated by maternal medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension and autoimmune disease or by fetal congenital diseases. His expertise includes: Amniocentesis Chorionic villus sampling Diabetic and nutritional counseling Fetal echocardiogram First-trimester screening Genetic counseling Sonography Ultrasound Dr. Dixon’s Training Dr. Dixon earned his medical degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee. He completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, where he served as chief resident in his final year and received the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine Resident Award for Excellence in Obstetrics. Dr. Dixon completed a maternal fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
