Dr. Claudia Chambers

Claudia Chambers, MD is a faculty physician with Dignity Health Medical Group in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. She is also the Associate Dean of Medical Education at Creighton University.Dr. Chambers is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Her practice involves general obstetrics and gynecology with special interests in minimally invasive surgery, cervical disorders, adolescent care and reproductive health. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she is an Assistant Professor and serves as Clerkship Director for Creighton University School of Medicine-Phoenix Campus and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Arizona.Dr. Chambers received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Medicine in New York. She completed her residency at Boston University after which she was Clinical Instructor at the University of Michigan. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, and traveling.I believe in patient centered care. I strive to make the patient the focus and their needs are central to how we approach their care. This makes communication an essential part of my approach to clinical care.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Vaginal Bleeding Between Periods, Vulvodynia, Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and Intrauterine Device Insertion.

Dr. Chambers is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 1 peer reviewed article.
