Dr. Dushey then completed his fellowship training in adult reconstructive surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan's Upper East Side.In addition to serving his patients, Dr. Dushey helps train future physicians in New York City as an assistant clinical professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He has published scientific papers on complex hip reconstructions, strategies to avoid blood clots after surgery, and rare genetic bone problems. He has won numerous awards and has been featured in the New York Times Best Doctors supplement. In his spare time, Dr. Dushey enjoys tennis, skiing, and film, as well as doing volunteer work.
