Overview
I enjoy seeing all types of heart patients and have a special interest in coronary heart disease, women's heart health, cholesterol, nutrition and exercise. It is rewarding to help motivate and educate patients who are eager to achieve their healthy lifestyle goals. A passion for heart disease prevention and patient education brought me to a career in cardiology after fifteen years as a physician assistant in primary care medicine. I am able to use my broad clinical experience to help patients understand heart disease and relate their heart health to their overall well-being. Another passion of mine is working to improve the lives of others as a medical volunteer in rural Tanzania, East Africa, with eleven trips to Africa so far.
