Overview
I grew up in a small town in southern Virginia as the daughter of a general dentist, which allowed me to see the benefit of long-term relationships with patients. In choosing family medicine, I seek out the same caring, respectful and empathetic relationships. I enjoy partnering with my patients by building trust, listening and determining the next best step together. A special part of my story at Duke is that I worked at Duke Primary Care in Oxford for two years as a medical assistant and scribe before attending PA school. I’m happy to be returning to care for patients here as a healthcare practitioner. For fun, I enjoy reading, swimming, running and gardening.
