Dr. Eric Jones earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle, followed by an internship and residency at the Clark Urology Center of the David Geffen Medical School at the University of California at Los Angeles. He completed a fellowship in urology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and graduated from its Clinical Scientist Training Program. In practice since 2003, Dr. Jones is board certified in both urology and pediatric urology. His special interests include fetal urology, congenital anomalies of the external genitalia and neurogenic bladder dysfunction. An associate professor in urologic surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, Dr. Jones serves on review panels of several professional journals, is published and cited in medical textbooks and publications. He also has presented at local, regional and international meetings and has been a visiting scholar at hospitals and universities in Europe and Asia.
