Overview
I grew up surrounded by role models of what it means to work hard and serve others. My grandmother had been a physician delivering babies in rural communities in a time long before this was commonly seen. And my father continues to work long hours serving patients in an urban community setting. I knew from a young age that I wanted to do work that was meaningful to me. I wanted to bring about the greatest amount of good for the greatest number I could. Medicine was a natural choice for me.What I want my patients to know about me:In addition to practicing general radiology, I am fellowship trained in abdominal imaging. Before joining WellSpan in 2018, I was an abdominal imager at the University of Maryland Medical Center for 12 years. I have expertise in all areas of GI/GU imaging (CT, MRI, ultrasound, x-ray, and fluoroscopy) with special interests in advanced applications of MRI imaging, including multiparametric MRI of the prostate, rectal cancer staging, and MR enterography. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy spending my time away from work with my husband and our four children. While this often means shuttling kids between various sports or after-school activities (currently tennis, dance, rock-climbing, and basketball), we also find down time to catch a movie together, have a family game or craft night or enjoy a family trip exploring the area or traveling. In rare moments of solitude, I enjoy reading, crocheting, cooking, or curling up with our two cats to catch a nap.

WellSpan Radiology
I wanted to be an architect my whole childhood, until one day in 11th grade social studies class, I saw a movie about a cosmetic plastic surgeon in Paris who would go out to the surrounding rural areas and perform pro-bono (free) reconstructive surgeries on children with birth defects and accident/burn victims. The doctor was considered a hero by the people in the villages and deservedly so. He improved the lives of countless people and was loved and revered. When the doctor came into town, he was treated like a king. That day I decided I was going to be a doctor. I put my drawing paper and protractor away and have never looked back. What I want my patients to know about me:I want my patients to know that I care about them and will always do my best to help heal them. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:In my free time, I'm usually with my wonderful wife and kids, helping any one or combination of them with whatever they need. In the rare circumstance that all the planets line up in a row and everyone in my house is settled and doing well, I can swim in my pool, play my drums in the basement (my drum set is one of my prized possessions), or run off to the beach in the summer, lay in the sand, and bake myself like a french fry.
