Dr. Woller is Professor of Medicine, University of Utah School of Medicine, Professor in Research, Intermountain Healthcare, and is a recognized teacher and recipient of the Intermountain Medical Center Housestaff Teaching Award (2011), the University of Utah School of Medicine Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award (2012), and the University of Utah Department of Internal Medicine Outstanding Faculty Subspecialty Teaching Award (2021, 2024). Dr. Woller, Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) and Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), served as Utah Chapter Governor of the American College of Physicians (Class of 2025). Dr. Woller's research group was awarded the 2015 U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Healthcare-Associated Venous Thromboembolism (HA-VTE) Prevention Challenge Award. It was with sincere humility and gratitude that Dr. Woller received the Intermountain Health Patient Experience Award (2022, 2024). Dr. Woller received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in 2000. Dr. Woller completed his residency at the University of Utah Hospital (2003) then served as Chief Medical Resident in 2003-04.
