Dr. Jane V. Trinh

I came “north” to Durham in 1998 to attend Duke Medical School. Little did I know at the time that Duke would become home to me. I currently have an active internal medicine practice seeing adult patients in the primary care setting. I also have the opportunity to work with new doctors in training on a daily basis, providing education to them in the primary care setting. I love taking care of patients in the outpatient setting, managing chronic diseases, and getting to know my patients – their health and their lives. I believe that the physician–patient relationship is a unique one and it is a privilege to be a part of patients’ lives. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my family and taking advantage of the benefits of living in the Triangle.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Hyperlipidemia Type 3, Type 2 Diabetes (T2D), Maturity Onset Diabetes of the Young, and Hypertension.

Dr. Trinh is board certified in American Board Of Internal Med, Internal Medicine and American Board Of Pediatrics, General Pediatrics. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 3 peer reviewed articles.
