Overview
I was initially drawn to the profession of neurology because of the interesting and often complex diagnoses we frequently see in our field. However, as I progressed through my training and practice, I found that developing cooperative relationships with patients and family is often the most rewarding aspect of my job. I have particular interests in neuromuscular diseases (e.g., ALS, nerve conditions, muscle weakness and myasthenia gravis) as well as stroke and inpatient neurology. As a Minnesota native, I am very partial to our wonderful state! My personal interests include camping in the BWCA, baking apple pie, cycling and spending time with my wife and our coonhound.
