Dr. Joseph Monir is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute, specializing in treatment of pain and injury in the hands and upper extremities. Dr. Monir completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at UF and a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Emory University in Atlanta. About Dr. Monir Dr. Monir has written for numerous peer-reviewed publications on hand and upper extremity surgery and is a peer reviewer for several academic journals. He is a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading, exercising and discovering new restaurants.
