She completed her medical doctorate at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus where she won several awards including the Gottesfeld Memorial Award for Overall Outstanding Student Performance and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and her Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus where she won awards for her research in the field of thyroidology. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, and has additional training in radiofrequency ablation of thyroid nodules. In her free time, the Colorado native enjoys hiking, skiing, reading, and spending time with her family and dog.
