Overview
Kimberley Chiu, MD, treats pelvic floor disorders for women including pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, urinary and fecal incontinence, and pelvic muscle dysfunction. Her philosophy of care is based on a shared decision-making model and individualized treatment plans for her patients. Her practice ranges from non-surgical to minimally-invasive surgical approaches. Dr. Chiu is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and fellowship-trained in urogynecology and reconstructive surgery. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the American Urogynecologic Society. Dr. Chiu grew up in Vancouver, BC before moving to the East Coast for the majority of her education. She received her undergraduate degree in public health studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She then completed medical school and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Chiu then pursued subspecialty training in urogynecology at Washington University in St. Louis. She is thrilled to return to the Pacific Northwest and enjoys all that it offers. Her interests outside work include trying new restaurants and cuisines, photography, jazz and blues music, and exploring parks and trails with her dog and family.
