Overview
I am a Minnesota home-grown gastroenterologist. I grew up in Rochester and completed my medical and specialized training at the University of Minnesota. In addition to expertise in management of all diseases of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and liver, I also have a special focus in the management of inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. I had the privilege of training under local experts in inflammatory bowel disease to build the knowledge base to continue this practice at HealthPartners. I particularly enjoy building relationships with my patients and providing comprehensive, longitudinal care. Up to date, evidenced-based medicine is a cornerstone of my care, along with individualized management with shared decision making.
