He also specializes in VATS (video assisted thoracic surgery), laparoscopic and robotic surgery. In addition, Dr. Herrera serves as an expert reviewer of other doctors performing robotic surgery through the C-SATS performance review and training program.Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Herrera graduated summa cum laude with his medical degree and magna cum laude with a bachelor's in biology from the University of Puerto Rico.
