Overview
Kyle Dammann, MD, provides surgical solutions for a variety of health conditions, including colon surgery, endocrinology and foregut surgery. His goal is to create a welcoming environment for patients, while helping them make informed decisions to achieve their health goals. Dr. Dammann believes that taking care of patients is a privilege and considers his position to be the best job in the world. He enjoys the culture and supportive atmosphere at SSM Health. Dr. Dammann earned his undergraduate degree in science from the University of Louisiana Monroe in Monroe, La. He has completed multiple programs, including a Master of Science from the University of Louisiana Monroe and a Doctor of Philosophy from Medical University of Vienna in Vienna, Austria. While he lived in Europe, Dr. Dammann was published for his studies numerous times on inflammation driven colon cancer. Dr. Dammann finished medical degree from Medical University of the Americas in Charlestown, Nevis, West Indies and a general surgery residency at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa. Dr. Dammann grew up in Tennessee and was a competitive water skier. He has traveled the world, competing in water skiing competitions. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Dammann enjoys learning about new cultures and pushing himself to learn new things. He enjoys traveling, visiting the lake with his dogs, and exploring new restaurants with his wife.
