I attended Notre Dame for my undergrad, New York Medical College for medical school, and trained in Sleepy Hollow, New York for residency. I subsequently joined as faculty for the residency program I trained with, where I became the Medical Director of the outpatient clinic, Associate Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program, and Medical Student Clerkship Director for rotating students. I learned medical Spanish while in residency. Family medicine allows me to serve and help people every day. Each patient is unique, and thus each day at work is engaging and interesting. I love being able to teach to advance the future of medicine. Making an impact on each patient's life is important to me, to allow them to be healthy from birth to older age. Family medicine is unique in that I can care for the whole family throughout their lives. I am passionate about treating patients of all ages in family medicine. Some other topics I am passionate about include preventive care, vaccine safety, weight management and mental health care. In my free time, I enjoy roller skating/roller hockey and long distance running.
