Overview
Dr. Michael Giglio, who grew up in the Spring Branch area, earned his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He completed his residency in the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Sugar Land, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Giglio, who is board certified in family medicine, has been in practice since 2018. His primary clinical interests are sports medicine, diabetic care, pediatric care, high blood pressure and office-based procedures. He also speaks Spanish. He strives to be a compassionate, caring provider for patients of all ages. With an emphasis on developing relationships that result in high-quality care, he works with patients to achieve their short- and long-term healthcare goals. His patients appreciate the explanations he gives, the time that he spends with them and his desire to see them succeed. Dr. Giglio is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, Harris County Medical Society and American Medical Association. A resident of Sugar Land, Dr. Giglio is married and the father of two sons. He and his wife are expecting a daughter in December. In his leisure time, he enjoys reading, writing, spending time with his family, lifting weights, woodworking and travel.
