Dr. N. Scott Howard

Dr. N. Scott Howard, MD, MBA, FACS, is a board-certified otolaryngologist–head and neck surgeon specializing in laryngology, with clinical expertise in voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. He serves as Associate Chief Medical Officer at University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center, Director of the UH Voice, Airway and Swallowing Center, and a professor of otolaryngology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Howard’s practice includes complex laryngeal and tracheal reconstruction, minimally invasive procedures for voice and airway conditions, swallowing disorders, early laryngeal cancer, and sleep surgery. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he served as a U.S. Army Armor Officer before earning his medical degree from the University of Florida. He completed otolaryngology residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, a laryngology fellowship at UCLA, and an Executive MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
