He completed his radiation oncology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Bennion previously worked as an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. He has received multiple teaching awards, authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and served on the Education Committee for the American Society of Radiation Oncology.Outside of work, Dr. Bennion enjoys spending time with his spouse and children, who keep him young. He enjoys using his smoker and pizza oven, listening to music, spending time in the mountains and participating in water sports. Dr. Bennion is also learning to play the cello.
