Dr. Robert Fullick, M.D. is an Assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UT Health) Medical School. Dr. Fullick completed his residency at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program in Boston, MA. He is fellowship trained in Sports Medicine at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD where he provided team coverage for the NFL Baltimore Ravens and MLB Washington Nationals. He completed his fellowship in reconstructive shoulder surgery at the Alps Surgery Institute in Annecy, France and is a former Texas A&M Baseball First Team Academic All-American. Dr. Fullick specializes in total shoulder replacement, reverse shoulder replacement, revision shoulder surgery, arthroscopic rotator cuff and instability surgery, and arthroscopic knee surgery including ligament reconstruction and knee dislocations.

His research, teaching and clinical activity have earned Dr. Klineberg an international reputation in spinal deformity surgery. Author of over then 300 publications and book chapters, he also edited Adult Lumbar Scoliosis, A Clinical Guide to Diagnosis and Management and is a principal or co-principal investigator for more than a half-dozen clinical studies. His major research interests are enhancement of spinal fusion with stem cells and proteins and spinal deformity and outcomes. He serves on the board of directors of the Scoliosis Research Society and on the executive committee of the International Spine Study Group. He is also the North American Chair of AO Spine, a global academic community that promotes excellence in education, research, patient care and outcomes.
