Overview
As an undergraduate engineering major, my plan throughout most of college had been to one day work designing and developing new technologies that interface with the human body. When I started working with patients in my last year of college, I realized my true calling was on the clinical side of medicine, not on the research or industry side. Naturally, I chose a field that allowed me to bridge my engineering background with medicine.What I want my patients to know about me:I believe that first and foremost, a doctor needs to listen to their patients. Every patient has a different story and different set of circumstances that need to be considered in the overall treatment plan. Medical decisions are never a one-way street and I pride myself on shared decision-making with my patients.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I am happily married with three young children who keep me on my toes! When I'm not chasing the kids around, I enjoy fixing up/rebuilding cars and playing a variety of different sports. I'm a big Philly sports fan at the professional level. At the college level, it's Pitt (Go Panthers!).
