I’m a Triangle native and was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. I completed most of my schooling and training in the area, and I find it an absolute privilege to care for heart patients in this community. In medical school, I opted to pursue a career in cardiology thanks to the variety it provides and the enormous differences cardiologists make in patient's lives. As an interventional cardiologist, I can do a heart catheterization, open a blockage, and immediately treat a patient’s symptoms, which is extremely gratifying. I also see patients in our office for a variety of general cardiology conditions ranging from chest pain to valve disease. Our clinic is easily accessible to the community, but has a close attachment to a world-renowned heart center at Duke Health. Therefore, our patients can know that they are receiving the most up-to-date and cutting-edge care available.
