Dr. Scott Reeder

Scott Reeder, MD, PhD is a UW Health radiologist. He is also a professor, researcher and chair of the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.Specializing in cardiovascular and abdominal imaging, Dr. Reeder uses state-of-the-art imaging technologies to diagnose diseases of the heart and liver. In addition, he works closely with multidisciplinary teams at UW Health to create effective treatment plans for patients with cancer and other diseases.Dr. Reeder also leads a National Institutes of Health-funded team of researchers inventing new ways to use MRI to assess liver disease and other diseases of the abdomen.His mission is to develop and translate advanced imaging technologies and bring them to the patients he serves.During his free time, Dr. Reeder enjoys outdoor activities, such as hiking, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and fishing.Using the most advanced imaging technologies available, radiologists at UW Health can peer into a patient's body to visualize disease and make accurate diagnoses.
