Dr. Sharon Li

Dr. Li’s focus is her patients’ general well-being with emphasis on preventive medicine offering annual physical exams, 3-D mammograms, bone density, cardiac and cancer screening as necessary. Dr. Sharon Li is a dedicated internist who serves her hometown of Houston, TX, where she sees adult patients (ages 17 ) at Medical Clinic of Houston, LLP. Her patient-centered philosophy for primary care is based on patient education, so together she and her patients can make shared medical decisions. She strives to avoid unnecessary medications and to provide optimal health care screenings during various stages of life. Dr. Li obtained her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. She has been awarded multiple times for her contribution to her field of practice: Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism & Excellence in Teaching Award (2018), TDCJ Resident of the Year (2016-2017), Daniels Clinic Resident of the Year (2015-2016). She is a strong advocate for an individualized approach to patient care and utilizes the latest, most effective and research-backed medical treatments combined with tried-and-true old-fashioned medicine. Dr. Li is a member of professional organizations such as the American College of Physicians & the Texas Medical Association. American Board of Internal Medicine certified, as a PCP she is trained to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions from simple to complex, to include arthritis, vertigo, sinusitis, asthma, and pneumonia.
