Overview
Dr. Sharon McCloskey earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Texas A&M University and her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she also completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. McCloskey, who has been practicing in Houston since 2001, is board certified in OB/GYN and a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical interests include general and high-risk obstetrics, preventive women's health care and minimally invasive gynecological surgery. She sees patients 15 and older. A caring and dedicated physician, Dr. McCloskey and her staff strive to maintain personal communication and relationships with patients. She spends time with her patients, providing them with the latest information and treatments available. Her patients appreciate her attentive, caring attitude and effective, meaningful communication.
