Dr. Shimamoto is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained in clinical neurophysiology with a strong interest in the care and management of patients with a wide variety of neurologic conditions including stroke, epilepsy, headache, clinical neurophysiology (EEG) and general neurology. Outside of work, Dr. Shimamoto enjoys long distance running. He's completed 5 full marathons and several half marathons. He also enjoys hiking, playing basketball, traveling, reading and cooking. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son and their dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
