She emphasizes shared decision-making and tailoring treatment plans to reflect each patient's goals, values, and life circumstances. Some of the most meaningful moments come when patients feel seen and supported, she says. I remember one patient who, during a particularly anxious time, simply said, 'I'm glad you're here I know I can ask what I need to.' It reminded me how much trust and presence matter in helping people feel safe and cared for during vulnerable moments. She credits Northwell's interdisciplinary model encompassing physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, transplant coordinators, social workers and financial counselors with helping patients navigate the complex transplant journey. For Dr. Boisclair, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing patients not just survive but thrive. Every patient I care for teaches me something. Their courage through uncertainty motivates me every day to keep pushing forward in clinical care and research.
Her clinical expertise encompasses Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), Leukemia, Adult T-Cell Leukemia, and Paroxysmal Cold Hemoglobinuria.
