Overview
Dr. Stephanie Fong, who grew up in Kingwood, is a Plan II Honors graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a second major in microbiology. She went on to earn her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She completed her residency and internship in internal medicine and pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics, Dr. Fong has been in practice since 2007 and treats patients of all ages. Her primary clinical interests include preventive care, well-child checkups, immunizations, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She takes special interest in patient education and encourages patients to take an active role in their own health care. Patients describe her as a thoughtful and caring physician. They say she listens and answers questions carefully, explains conditions clearly and takes time with them during appointments. Dr. Fong is a member of the Harris County Medical Society and has served as president of its Northwest Branch. Currently, she is an active member of the society’s Social Media Committee and Community Health Improvement and Communication Committee. A resident of Klein, Dr. Fong likes to spend time with her husband and children. She enjoys ceramics, paper crafting, stained glass and photography as hobbies.
