Board certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Chen is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Texas Medical Association, the Association for Vision and Research in Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retinal Specialists. She has published articles in medical journals and presented research at national meetings on various topics, including the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and vitreoretinal surgery. Dr. Chen is married to an ophthalmologist. Away from her practice, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and spending time with her friends and family.
