Dr. Short completed Medical School at Barry University School of Medicine following a double major undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology from Florida State University. He pursued and completed a 3-year surgical residency at Millcreek Community Hospital and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Erie, Pennsylvania. Following residency, he was selected for the Sports Medicine and Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Following his Fellowship, he practiced for 10 years with the Carondelet Medical Group in Tucson, Arizona. In 2016, he transitioned to assist with the establishment of The Northwest Allied Physicians Foot and Ankle Sports Medicine and Peripheral Neuropathy Institute.
