I chose to enter medicine because I have a special interest in stroke and spinal-cord injury rehabilitation. Since these injuries often cause serious, permanent disability to those affected, having a well-structured rehabilitation program is paramount to a favorable long-term outcome, minimizes complications and enables a smooth transition from hospital to home. | Community involvement | I'm not actively involved in any community or charity projects at this time. | Personal interests | When not working I love to spend time with my family.
