Dr. Zohaib Ahmad is a board-certified radiologist with specialty expertise in musculoskeletal imaging. He an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) and an attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Ahmad is experienced in many aspects of musculoskeletal imaging, including sports injury, soft tissue and bone tumors, spinal imaging, and peripheral nerve imaging, as well as musculoskeletal interventions such as joint injections/aspirations and soft tissue and bone tumor biopsy. After completing medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine, Dr. Ahmad went on to complete his residency in diagnostic radiology at Boston University Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Ahmad serves as the associate director of medical student education for the Department of Radiology at VP&S. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, and the American College of Radiology.
