Dr. Vijay Singh

"Vijay A. Singh, MD, is Northwell Health's regional director of thoracic surgery for eastern Long Island. With more than 10 years of experience, he delivers expert results in the treatment of benign and cancerous disorders of the lung and esophagus with precision and compassion. Dr. Singh was the first in Suffolk County to perform robotic thoracic surgery, a minimally invasive technique that improves surgical precision and reduces recovery time, and among the first on Long Island to perform robotic bronchoscopy. Thanks in part to his efforts, Southside Hospital has been recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by the Surgical Review Corporation.

Collaboration is key to Dr. Singh's approach to treatment.
