Overview
Dr. Vincent Pronesti was born in Pittsburgh and raised in Moon Township. He received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. Dr. Pronesti then attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2016 with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. He was elected into the Sigma Sigma Phi honorary service medical society. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, where he served as Chief Fellow, elected by his peers.
Dr. Pronesti is active on the staff of Heritage Valley Health System Sewickley Campus, Heritage Valley Health System Kennedy Campus (formerly Ohio Valley General Hospital), and Three Rivers Endoscopy Center. He is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, and the American Osteopathic Association. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Pronesti’s practice includes diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal and liver diseases and performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy.
He resides in Robinson with his wife and two young children. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. His hobbies include cooking, golfing, and attending sporting events as an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
