Overview
Yram J. Groff, MD, is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and was honored with the Sankey Award for Excellence in Orthopaedics. Dr. Groff completed his internship in general surgery, residency in orthopaedic surgery, and fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at UPMC. Dr. Groff was honored with the Most Outstanding Resident Award. He has authored numerous papers and has given academic presentations on a wide variety of topics. Dr. Groff is clinical instructor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Qualified to evaluate and treat the entire spectrum of orthopaedic problems, Dr. Groff specializes in sports-related injuries and disease of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Groff is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
