Dr. Vincent J. Silvaggio

Vincent J. Silvaggio, MD, is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery and a fellowship in spine surgery at UPMC. Dr. Silvaggio is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of several professional and scientific societies including the North American Spine Society, the Cervical Spine Research Society, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in spine surgery. Dr. Silvaggio currently serves as chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and chief of surgical services at UPMC St. Margaret. He also serves as clinical assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Silvaggio was recently named by Best Doctor’s Inc. to the 2016 “Best Doctors” list in Pittsburgh Magazine. He and his partners at Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates – UPMC were recently acknowledged among Pittsburgh’s “Best Doctors” in 2016.
