Overview
Magdi Grant Alexander is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and has been practicing the full breadth of general surgery for over 30 years. He is considered one of the top surgeons in the region. Dr. Alexander has been an integral member of the surgical teaching faculty at Huntington Hospital/Cedars Siani Affiliate for the past 26 years. He has been active in administrative positions and is currently the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at USC Arcadia. Dr. Alexander is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society for Gastro Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). His wide surgical focus involves expertise in Robotic Surgery, Advanced Laparoscopic surgery, General Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Vascular surgery, and Oncological surgery. Dr. Alexander has received multiple acknowledgements from national and regional medical associations: including the coveted Surgical Teaching Faculty Award, Regional Physician of the Year Award, Pasadena Top Doctor, America’s Top Surgeon Award, and the Patient’s Choice Award 5-year honoree.
