Outside of work, Cloe is an animal lover and spends much of her free time with her two rescue dogs, Mazy (a Boxer mix) and Milo (a Pit mix). Hiking with them allows her to unwind and recharge—although they’re always quick to chase a squirrel if they spot one! Choolo Shawa is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner who believes in a holistic approach to health care. After being a registered nurse for 10 years, she decided to pursue her master’s degree to broaden her knowledge and skills in health care in order to better serve her community as an advanced nurse practitioner.  Ms. Shawa graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with an Master of Science in Nursing.
