Dr. Benjamin Conoyer was born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri. His family roots are traceable back to the French founding fathers of the community. He graduated from the Academy of the Sacred Heart in 1993, from Duchesne High School in 1997, and received a B.S. in Chemistry from St. Louis University in 2001. He continued on to receive a Masters in Anatomy degree from St. Louis University. with emphasis in research. He published his thesis on the histology of the cerebellum in reptiles.Observing the formation of Midwest ENT in the years 2000-2002, Dr. Conoyer set the professional goal of practicing Otolaryngology with his father, brother, and all the exceptional doctors of Midwest ENT. In 2003, he enrolled in the St. Louis University School of Medicine and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2007. During his medical school years, he continued to instruct other medical professionals in human anatomy and Advanced Trauma Life Support.Dr. Conoyer completed a General Surgery Internship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2008, and returned to St. Louis University to train in Otolaryngology. While in his residency, he served on several governing boards involved with improving the quality of resident education. His research interests included treatment protocols for Idiopathic Sudden Sensory Neural Hearing Loss and the characteristics of malignant tumors on Positron Emission Tomography (PET scanning). Having completed his ENT training in 2013, he is pleased to be joining Midwest ENT. Like the partners, he is committed to providing quality ear, nose and throat care to residents of our region.While rotating through Cardinal Glennon Hospital, Dr. Conoyer met his wife, Rachel (nee Ervin), R.N., B.S.N. She is the Nursing Director of the Ambulatory Care Center and its outreach sites for Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center. They have been married since 2011. During residency, he authored multiple medical textbook contributions and original scientific articles. His original findings linking smoking to hearing loss garnered attention from national news outlets and many scientific citations. After serving a year as Chief Resident, he moved his family back home to St. Charles County to join Midwest ENT Centre in 2008. Since that time, Dr. Conoyer has developed a reputation as a regional early adopter of emerging medical technologies and minimally-invasive surgical procedures that offer better outcomes and quality-of-life to his patients. He was the first in the bi-state area to perform an in-office balloon sinus dilation procedure and remains among the nation’s most experienced with these procedures. He has similarly been a pioneer with many other office-based ENT technologies, including the Vivaer® procedure (treating nasal obstruction), Eustachian tube dilation, posterior nasal nerve treatments for vasomotor rhinitis, steroid-eluting sinus implantations and the fitting and placement of direct-drive hearing aids. Dr. Conoyer lives in St. Charles County with his wife, Ellen, and their four children. When not caring for his patients, he enjoys coaching youth basketball, wildlife land management and hunting. He is active in his Church, his local parish, and several outreach ministries. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Award. After medical school, Dr. Boone completed her surgical internship and her otolaryngology residency at St. Louis University.  During her residency, she received several achievement awards including Cardinal Glennon department of pediatric surgery intern award given to the surgical intern who exemplifies outstanding surgical skill and patient care.  She was also awarded the Department of Otolaryngology Resident Research Award given the best resident research project judged by an guest professor.  During her residency, she published several articles ranging from newborn hearing screening to intraoperative nerve monitoring. A fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Dr. Boone is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, St. Charles-Lincoln County Medical Society, the Missouri State Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Boone has been an integral part in the development of the electronic medical records implementation.  She has served on the board of Allscripts for many years and is dedicated to providing the most state of art medical information transparency for her patients.   Philanthropy has been an integral part of Dr. Boone’s life. During residency, he authored many original scientific articles and presented his research at national scientific meetings. He received awards from the American Academy of Otololaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, including the Resident Leadership Award and a Travel Grant that allowed him to travel to Kenya to perform cleft lip / palate surgery. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in and received the MU Most Outstanding Resident Award for Excellence in Medical Education.After graduating from residency in 2010, Dr. Page was recruited to the MU School of Medicine faculty, where he served as Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
