Born in West Virginia, Dr. Lew’s childhood years spanned both U.S. coasts, Poland and Canada before her family landed in Texas. Dr. Lew received an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed an internal medicine/pediatrics residency from Geisinger Medical Center.Dr. Lew loved the idea of being a pediatrician working with kids and their families and watching them grow up. However, she did not want to watch her patients age out of her practice.
