Overview
I find the women who seek treatment in our urogynecology specialty to be an inspirational set of people. Our ladies, who span a wide age range, are generally active and want to stay this way -- without a pelvic floor disorder weighing them down. The services and treatment options that we provide are innovative and I strive to tailor my recommendations to fit the woman in front of me -- her lifestyle, her activity level and her concerns. I am originally from Miami and moved north for the sole purpose of joining this wonderful urogynecology practice. The physicians, nursing staff, and administrative staff that I have the fortune of working with are a dynamic group who shares the common goal of providing professional and patient-focused care. I am energetic and love the performing arts, so I try to spend any free time dancing and enjoying the theater.

Clinical research consists of overseeing clinical studies of patients undergoing new treatments and therapies, and publishing articles in peer reviewed medical journals. I see patients with all gynecological concerns. I have a particular interest and clinical focus on the management of patients with pelvic pain, including diagnoses of endometriosis, adenomyosis, nerve entrapment, vaginismus, vulvodynia, pelvic floor dysfunction, painful intercourse, fibroids, and cysts. I perform an average of 130 operative procedures per year, mostly using primarily minimally invasive techniques. I also perform trigger point and botox muscle injections. In September 2016, I was featured as a Mom-Approved Top Doctor in Atlanta Parents Magazine. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, coaching youth soccer, and playing with my three kids.
