I knew that no two days would be the same in a life of medicine, and date, that has remained true. In medical school, I saw how orthopedics predominantly focuses on improving a patient’s quality of life and the outcomes are very rewarding. I knew at that moment, I wanted to pursue orthopedics. Pursuing sports medicine was a continuation of that as I enjoyed working with very motivated and highly functional athletes of all ages to return to the activities they enjoy. In the field of sports medicine, I enjoy arthroscopy and other minimally invasive techniques as they are constantly changing and improving. | Community involvement | I have had the unique opportunity to work with athletes and athletic programs of every caliber. Previously, I have served as the team physician for area high schools, the University of Pittsburgh Panthers and the Duquesne University Dukes.
